Chen Yin, Chairman of CTG, met with Liu Duo, the Vice Mayor of Shanghai, in the morning of March 22 in Shenzhen, and exchanged views on business cooperation between the two sides.
Chen Yin extended his welcome to Vice Mayor Liu Duo and his delegation, and briefly introduced the Group's development history and business layout. He noted that the Municipal Government of Shanghai, the birth place of the predecessor of China Tourism Group 100 year ago, has provided support to the development of CTG over a long time, adding that CTG attaches great importance to its business in Shanghai and will seek cooperation opportunities to participate in the development of Shanghai's tourism industry to achieve mutual benefits.
Liu Duo introduced the development of the cultural and tourism industry in Shanghai. She remarked that China Tourism Group, as a central state-owned enterprise with tourism as its core main business, has rich practical experience and advantages in the whole industry chain after a century of development, expressing her hope to work closely with CTG in projects to push the development of urban tourism in Shanghai.
Wu Qiang, Vice General Manager of CTG, relevant managers of CTG's Strategic Development Department and CTG International, Shang Yuying, Deputy Secretary General of Shanghai Municipal Government, as well as relevant leaders of the Promotion Office of the Construction of Scientific and Technological Innovation for Shanghai and the Municipal Science and Technology Commission attended the meeting.
