On November 3rd, CTG and China UnionPay signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement in Shanghai. Chen Yin, the Chairman and Party Committee Secretary of CTG, Wang Haimin, the Director, General Manager, Deputy Party Committee Secretary of CTG, Shao Fujun, the Chairman and Party Committee Secretary of China UnionPay, and Hao Zhe, the Executive Vice President, and Party Committee Member of China UnionPay, witnessed the signing ceremony. Li Gang, the Vice General Manager and Party Committee Member of CTG, and Hu Haozhong, the Executive Vice President of China UnionPay signed the Agreement.
Years of cooperation between CTG and China UnionPay has reaped a plurality of achievements in payment acceptance, international business, etc. Signing the new Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement, in a positive response to the call of "encouraging joint efforts to create a better life for the people and constantly realizing people's aspiration for better life", symbolizes an important initiative of both parties to jointly build a digital economy and promote the development of the cultural tourism industry.
The two sides held friendly talks before the signing ceremony. They agreed that this Agreement would further optimize the cooperation mechanism to gather high-quality resources, accelerate the digital transformation for tourism scenes, and expand cooperation in regional markets and over specific products. The in-depth win-win cooperation between the two sides is expected to contribute to the recovery and development of tourism industry. CTG-Pay, a payment product binding the CTG member code and the UnionPay payment QR code, was released at the meeting, which allows identification of CTG membership in making payment by one QR code, so that the payer can enjoy the benefits provided by CTG, UnionPay and banks simultaneously.
